Are you ready for another eclipse? I hope so because that and other astrological events this week will get things moving and shaking.
In a way the universe is sending us mixed signals. While some planetary placements are urging us to move onward and upward and to prepare for the future, Mercury retrograde is putting the brakes on some of our efforts. And though this may not be a good time to initiate some changes, it is certainly a fine time to move forward with efforts started before the retrograde, and also a time when we get to go back over things we’ve done in the past that might need a little tweaking. There’s another set of eclipses coming this summer that will help us realize a lot of our goals, so now is definitely a good time to start thinking about where we’d like to be and what we’d like to be doing. But for now, let’s stick to this week:
Monday – December 5 – Venus Trines Mars. Venus, the planet of love and beauty, is now in down-to-earth Capricorn. Mars is in get-it-done Virgo. Both of these signs, Virgo and Capricorn, are about reality-based commonalities, and the very basics of love are what matters now; show that special person how you feel about them instead of just mouthing the words. Your actions will make it so much more meaningful. If you like someone you’ve dated before but haven’t made much time for the relationship to blossom, Mercury in retrograde will be helpful in letting you go back and make up for lost time.
Friday – December 9 – Uranus in Aries goes direct, ending its retrograde cycle. Uranus is the planet of revolution, not so much personal revolution, but revolution on a collective, wide-spread scale. Uranus moved into Aries in March of this year and it will be there until the middle of May, 2018. The last time we experienced Uranus in Aries was in the late 20s to early 30s when major events happened, such as the discovery of penicillin for one. Look back in history and you will see its correlation to the many changes just beginning for us now. Over the next several years, things we can’t even fathom may become a way of life, and a lot of things we’ve come accustomed to, like the power of major corporations perhaps, will lose their stronghold over humanity. Does Zuccotti Park ring a bell? The key to coming out ahead in this transit is to bend like a willow and move with the changing times. Now that Uranus is in direct motion again, things will start moving quickly in forward motion as well. It’s a rather exciting time, as many of us are ready for big changes to occur.
Saturday – December 10 – Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini. I always stress the importance of eclipses; they are a big deal. Be inspired by this event. Use it to figure out the direction you want the next year or decade of your life to take and start moving towards it. If you’ve wanted to do something and your tires keep getting stuck in the mud, push out and push forward because your intentions are a powerful force right now. What you do and say can help make your dreams come true, so make those intentions positive. Uranus in forward motion will not just help you get there, it will catapult you into the future and things start speeding up now. Make it happen. You can do it.
Remember the overall message of the week, actions speak louder than words and your actions can take you far into the future you envision for yourself. Roll with the changes happening all around.
My clairaudience is stepping in right now with an appropriate song from well-known Jersey boy, Frank Sinatra: “Fairy tales (but I hear “dreams”) can come true, it can happen to you, if you’re young at heart.”
Thanks for stopping by.
