Early Spring or More Winter Weather?
One day a year, on February 2, the world waits for the celebrated groundhog to emerge from his burrow and give us our weather-related fate for the following six weeks. As tradition tells it, if the groundhog doesn’t see his shadow, then spring will come early. However if he sees his shadow, he will retreat back into his burrow to wait out six more weeks of winter.
