April 19 – the Sun enters Taurus
A snippet from my 2012 article, “Date and Love a Taurus“
“The Bull is generous with big hugs and shows of affection. You will also find them to be very sensuous, almost intuitive lovers. They seek not only a physical connection but a magical one, where your minds, bodies and souls embrace. It is because of their deep need to feel loved and give love in return that you will often see a Taurus in a committed relationship with another Earth sign, a Water sign, or someone who has lot of those elements in their chart. Dating and loving a Taurus is not for the party girl or boy, so kick off your dancing shoes if you want to snuggle up with your romantic Taurus.”
There is a 2013 version of this article, but it hasn’t been published yet. In the meantime, if you’d like to know more about dating and/or loving a Taurus – click here– to read the rest of the article. This year’s series of “Date and Love …” is a little different, it has dating advice for both men and women.
I get a lot of comments on my articles on CP saying they’re geared towards women and not men. I think I’m pretty middle of the road about that subject unless I’m writing to a specific gender, as in “He’s Such a Jerk, But I Love Him.” Speaking of which, I had a record number of comments on that article, not on my blog but on CP.
I really wrote it from my heart and my own identification with the subject, but it blew me away to see how many people are in not-so-great situations relationship-wise. I had fun writing it, reading it now it seems “hard,” but sometimes hard situations calls for hard, friend-in-your-face emotions. Now, upon reflection all I can think about is all those sad people who feel trapped in bad situations. It hurt my heart to read them all. I’m in a place where I can recall the pain of that time but not have it affect me.
So for my upcoming Lunar Eclipse wish, I’m going to wish for more people to feel free to be themselves, to fearlessly ride towards their future on a wave of positivity and unconditional love. Please join me – thoughts and words are powerful – imagine what we could change with a group thought as opposed to one alone. I’ll write more about this later. For now – go on and read about that hero with a heart, Taurus the bull.
