This is a huge week astrologically speaking. On Tuesday the 18th, Pluto goes direct in Capricorn. But since Pluto is retrograde a good percentage of the time, that’s not even the big news (but I do have something to say about it… in a minute). The big news is that we’re also experiencing on Tuesday the 2nd in a series of 7 Uranus-Pluto squares. It goes exact on Tuesday but it’s likely you’ve felt some tension in the air for a while now. They tend to build up energy and this one seems particularly strong. Squares of any type can be deemed difficult at best, but this particular square is disruptive. While Pluto is about rebirth and world transformation, Uranus is the planet that represents revolution. Or as Astrologer, Eric Francis would say, “Revolution-Revelation.”
Astro Reminder: Mercury entered Libra on Sunday the 16th where it will be until October 5. Since Mercury is the planet of communication, Libra’s well-polished persona can make words flow easier now. But like the scales of Libra which are usually more off-kilter than perfectly balanced, there may sometimes be a tendency to embellish or well, chat up a bit much. Remember, communication works best when it works both ways.
There’s more in store for this week, which I’ll write about tomorrow –
we’re not done with Uranus and Pluto and neither is Mercury.
What I was going to say earlier about Pluto in retrograde: Pluto in Capricorn speaks about a more unified existence, a call for changes on a world scale effecting businesses, corporations, and governments, regulations and laws that need reforming or discarding. But since Pluto is in retrograde so often, it would figure that a good percentage of the world’s population was born with Pluto in retrograde, and that can be very personal. Coupled with Uranian energy, I think it’s the reason why I’m noticing tension and unexpected problems and events on a personal level – and not just my own. It’s happening to a lot of people. Your to-do list may be off the charts; your house is crying for attention or misunderstandings are about. I can see why something that represents revolt on a massive scale can really be very personal for some. The only way to know is to have your birth chart done.
